The MX6000 is a Multi-Function Controller with a single Modbus TCP/IP interface and six RS485 communication ports, eight digital inputs and ten digital outputs. Six internal tasks offer on-board programmable control providing multi-function operation. Highly configurable, the MX6000 is most often used where the serial ports appear as virtual COM ports within the host PC. Advanced features such as an on-board real-time clock and local data storage allow the MX6000 to continue to gather time-stamped data from attached devices even when the link to the host PC fails.
